Conference weekend........
We started another family tradition last year of making brunch on conference sunday. Fresh fruit crepes with all the trimmings.



















Hailey was there in spirit......We made her a plate and then enjoyed eating it. Come home soon Hailey!!

B-rax was the crepe maker while his father worked on an omlette creation!!!

Braxton's basketball team won a division in an AAU tournament in March. It was the final game of the season.

Dodger Stadium was awesome! Especially the "Dodger Dogs"
(hot dogs) It was a great afternoon, a little sweltering, but lots of fun!

Firecracker Tournament July 4, 2008

Dodgers played in a 4th of July Tournament. It was about 90 degrees, but we all had a blast. We carried coolers full of gatorade and bottled water and yes, we kicked butt!!

Scout Camp 2008

Barry took seven scouts to camp.....It was quite an adventure. Showering and brushing their teeth seemed to be the most difficult task to get completed. Braxton & Daxton had to build a monkey bridge. However, they came home to play a baseball game the night of that assignment and didn't really have the time to spend on it. Thanks baseball mom Kim, who built it during the game. Will they really ever need to know the skill of monkey bridge building?

THE WASATCH BACK RELAY.....

...is a l8l mile relay from Logan to Park City. Our 12 man team had a vehicle of 6 men and one of 6 women. It was gorgeous scenery and I didn't sleep for 39 hours. "Run, eat, sleep, Repeat" is the idea....We had a blast and are already planning for next year.

My first run was 7.4 miles up a mountain. It was hard, hot, dusty and lots of fun. I love a challenge!!!Eating dinner in Eden at the "Garden of Eatin"
We all ran in the middle of the night. My run was around 2 am. The moon was full and we had Christmas lights on the roof rack of the suburban we were driving which helped the runner keep track of her pit crew.

New York City....

NEW YORK CITY GIRL'S TRIP!!!
May 31 - June 4, 2008
We took Grandma Munk to the "Big Apple" for a little getaway. There were eight of us in all and we shared five days of fun, shopping, sight seeing and laughs. It was a great time with perfect weather. We danced on the "BIG" piano at FAO Schwartz, ate at Bubba Gumps, saw two Broadway shows, Wicked and Mary Poppins, and walked grandma's legs off. She was a real trooper and wouldn't have missed it for anything. I'm not sure if she's fully recovered
