WASATCH BACK RELAY 2009
2 Fast 2 B Last.....and last we were not. We placed 9th out of 463 teams. Oh Yeah!!! Way to go team!
188 miles, 24 hours 37 minutes in a suburban....Always a party! Mountains, meadows and moonlight runs.....got to love it baby!

Decorating the suburban is half the fun....We had to cross out the "hurry up" part because Deann was quite speedy!! Way to go Deann!

Poor visibility, rain, fog and a little snow on the side. Got to love those elements! This is what makes this relay an adventure. You just never know what you'll be up against.

Hailey returns from BYU Hawaii!
I don't know how she made it with all her luggage. She had to leave one suitcase (mine)in Hawaii. She dumped a lot of stuff and left some to roomates and whoever wants to scavenge through it. That's what happens when they come home. Two years of college and you can only bring two suitcases home!! Notice the skateboard strapped to her duffle bag. She got away with counting that as one carry on.......but it weight about 50 lbs. She had to leave her longboard, and surfboard. But overall, I was quite impressed that she managed as much as she did!!!

EASTER 2009
Braxton hunted for eggs....he wanted money!!! He and Barry raced to find it. I hid it on the lower level of the rock wall under some folage. They definately had to search. But well worth the effort!!

BED BUGS!!!!
This is Hailey's room in Hawaii......before they got bedbugs.......The three roomies have had to strip their beds, throw some stuff away, wash all the bedding and put the mattresses in the garage to be fumigated by the landlord. Yuck!!! They have been sleeping in the living room on the hardwood floor. Luckily, the boys next door gave them some blow up mattresses. They definately had a few miserable nights. She is so looking forward to her own clean bed when she gets home.........just a couple of more weeks.

These are the microscopic bugs.....they feed on blood! You can see how they infested the mattress cover and are very difficult to get rid of. The whole house needs to be sprayed, just like when you have termites. I would love to live in the warm climate, but it does have it's challenges.
